You are a survivor

If you are reading this, then you are a survivor. How many survived the onslaughter? Turn to a neighbour and say, 'you are a survivor.' Another one of those up your sleeve. Just wait for the next one at the corner. I just wonder why we fear aging yet we are happy to celebrate new years. Funny, right?

which city?

I was only asking because I'm quite interested in the current conflict on the horn of africa and wanted to ask, how much people in uganda get to hear of it (or how much they are even affected by it?).

Am now in Kampala. And about the conflict in the horn of Africa, we have one closer by in the northern part of Uganda that also needs attention.

sadly this is very true, I guess. I'm trying to talk about such "forgotten conflicts" in my blog every now and then. maybe I'll be able to go on this soon. I don't know, where you are going with your blog, but maybe you want write something about it too?

That's a nice idea. I guess I will try (After am done with these things we call so *important* in life). I can't believe we can do something to help other people and yet we *only* have to time to say 'I am busy.' Some guy called is it self centredness or selfishness. I think I have to get it out of my sytem. That's now one of my resolutions this year.

great, I'm sure that would also help me and give me a small guide through what I will have to investigate :)

What kind of information do you like?

well, I guess it would be possible for me to gather all the information by myself, so I wouldn't need any specific information at the moment. but it sure is interesting to get a first impression (unfortunately I've never really heard somthing about it) from someone who knows something about it.

see ya at your new blog. :)
